Founder and Principal of Urban Architectural Group, John has over 30 years of experience in the field of Architecture and Construction. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture. John has a unique talent of bringing a client’s vision to reality and creating problem solving architecture. John believes that Architecture should respond to its position in time, place and context.

John is currently serving his 12th year as a Commissioner for the Town of Matthews and also serves as board member on several local non-profits. When not serving the community he enjoys traveling, snowmobiling, sailing and is a licensed pilot. You will also find him working in the garden or doing home remodeling.
